During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Brookdale Hospice is starting a No One Dies Alone (Vigil Volunteer Program) Volunteer Program.
Recruiting volunteers to sit at patient's bedside, create a calm, peaceful atmosphere and provide Ministry of Presence during the final hours of their End of Life Journey. Play soft music, read, sing.
We are not born alone and so it stands to reason we should not have to die alone. Provide a calming, peaceful presence at patient's bedside as they transition. Soft music, reading, ministry of presence. What a beautiful gift.
Brookdale Communities are located throughout Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Please contact our office to discuss this program in greater detail.
We look forward to sharing this amazing opportunity with you, our patients and families on Hospice

Brookdale Hospice is an ancillary service under Brookdale Healthcare Services and is certified by Medicare. Part of the Medicare Conditions of Participation is to offer and provide volunteer services to the terminally ill patients and families that we serve. Volunteer services can be direct (interacting directly with the patient and families) and indirect (working in the office, administrative duties).
Brookdale Hospice provides a comprehensive orientation and training program prior to your volunteer experience. Applicants must complete a background check, drug screen, and TB screening (at the cost of Brookdale Hospice). A full application and reference check will be completed as well.
Interested just a little? Call us today to discuss the MANY ways you can volunteer!
