The Restore Is a discount retail outlet that sells new or gently used furniture, appliances, housewares and building materials that have been donated by generous members of our community; all it's proceeds provide a source of funds for building homes, communities and hope for families in need in Broward County.
Customer service Volunteers help us by greeting and assisting our customers, providing general information, helping them find items and prices and helping them take purchased items to their vehicles.
Customer Service Volunteers play an essential role in our organization, thanks to them, we are able to sell more donations, which directly reflects in more opportunities for families to build a better future.
This is a great opportunity for small groups, a "people person", or someone who would like to gain experience in customer service while making a difference in their community!
This position has available shifts Monday to Saturday between 9:00am and 6:00pm.This role requires no previous experience--just a positive attitude, a friendly smile, and willingness to answer questions from shoppers and donors. The volunteer can read a book or do another hobby in between customers, or help organize merchandise. Volunteers needed anytime. Any number of service hours is appreciated. No advance scheduling necessary after a one-time, one-hour orientation.
