On the first Saturday of each month, Rise serves up hot pancakes to children and families. Volunteers will help prepare and serve pancakes, as well as make them feel welcome. Times to serve is from 8:00am to 10:30am on the first Saturday of each month. Groups, families with children, and teens are welcome to serve.

Description
One in ten children will suffer maltreatment in their lifetime and twenty percent of children will be sexually abused before the age of eighteen. Rather than serving families after children have been abused, neglected, or mistreated, Rise reaches families before intervention is needed. Through child-focused education, care-taker trainings, and wrap-around services, we empower people connected to children to protect them.
