It might be hard to believe but there are many older adults in San Francisco who have never used a computer, don't have access to the internet, and have never learned to use digital technology. Due to this digital divide, there are many older adults in the Bay Area experience isolation and can't access vital resources. We need YOU to help these adults connect with family and access information by teaching how to use tecchnology and the internet.

Only basic computer skills needed. What is more important is that you are patient, friendly, and interested in supporting seniors! There is an especially high need for Spanish-speaking volunteers able to tutor in the mornings in the mission!

What you will do:

  • Commit to a weekly tutoring shift
  • Help a senior learn how to use their laptop, smartphone, tablet or e-reader
  • Act as a resource and guide, helping them learn how to find resources and information
