Volunteers needed for our 11th Annual Fight for Air Climb at AON Center in Downtown LA on Saturday, April 14, 2018. We challenge over 1,000 Climbers to climb the AON Center to raise awareness for lung disease and lung health.
We will be having the following 2 shifts available during this event for volunteering:
- 5:30AM - 8:30PM: Event Set-Up - unloading vehicles and UHaul, lifting and carrying items to prepare building for participants, setting up tables & festival for our sponsors
- 7:00AM-01:00PM: Main Event & Event Breakdown - Participant/Volunteer Check-In, Registration, Finish Festival, Line Control, Cheer & Water Stations, Beer Garden, Recovery Zone, & Parking. Breaking down tables & chairs, putting equipment away, loading UHaul & vehicles, and general clean-up

The American Lung Association in California is the leading organization dedicated to fighting threats to lung health including asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), tobacco, and air pollution.
We support basic and clinical research through training and "seed" grants for beginning researchers, advocate for stronger clean air and tobacco control policies at the local and state level, and serve communities throughout California by providing numerous education and support programs to help children and adults living with lung disease.
Our focus is fighting for healthy lungs and clean air for all Californians.
