¡Se necesitan voluntarios bilingües para los slam de historias!
Los voluntarios de los eventos hacen posible que nuestros slams de historias mensuales se desarrollen sin ningún inconveniente y que cada miembro del público se sienta acogido. Necesitaremos unos cuantos voluntarios bilingües para nuestro slam de marzo de 2016 pero también puedes ayudar con los slams de narraciones en inglés que tendrán lugar desde septiembre hasta mayo.
Durante la orientación, que se imparte en inglés, revisaremos las oportunidades y expectativas y te registraremos para que seas voluntario en eventos específicos. Una vez que hayas asistido a la orientación, nuestro planificador de voluntarios te mandará un e-mail con las oportunidades disponibles, las cuales se programan de mes a mes.
Ejemplos del trabajo llevado a cabo por nuestros increíbles voluntarios:
Door Crew: ¡Ayudan a los miembros de la audiencia a sentirse acogidos desde el momento en que llegan! Este equipo de 3 saluda a los asistentes, recoge dinero y distribuye las urnas durante los eventos.
UltraShort Crew: ¡Interactúan con la audiencia y recogen historias! Este equipo distribuye los formularios UltraShort, los recoge y decide quiénes salen al escenario. Al final de cada slam de historias, este equipo recoge los votos de la audiencia.

Ex Fabula is a nonprofit founded in 2009, dedicated to strengthening community bonds through the art of storytelling. Ex Fabula founders are proud of the organization that they created and continue their involvement as Board Directors and staff.
By producing live storytelling events, we celebrate the power of true and personal stories to connect us. Paradoxically, stories reveal our shared humanity while also acknowledging that each person’s journey is unique. We can learn a lot from listening to the life experiences of those who are different from us. Each tale of struggle, triumph, and discovery reveals who we are now, and who we hope to become.
