ORGANIZATION: The Nature Conservancy in Oregon

This area is home to Oregon’s best remaining Sitka spruce swamp and it provides habitat along the Columbia River for bald eagle, osprey and river otter. Volunteers will remove invasive purple loosestrife from two sites on the Columbia River during this work party. On Saturday, we will work on foot at the North Coast Land Conservancy's Wolf Bay Preserve, and on Sunday, we will work from canoes at The Nature Conservancy's Blind Slough Swamp.
