Women of Refined Gold, along with many other organizations and shelters dedicated to the cause of domestic violence, will be hosting a Community Fair and we are in need of volunteers! The community fair is an educational and interactive event, designed for outreach and to provide resources to people in the community. The fair consists of a variety of vendors that will educate you on all aspects of health, wellness, domestic violence, sexual assault, and as well as what resources are available within the commuity.
Volunteers are needed for setting up, breaking down, working tables, and other small tasks to help the organization. The community fair will not run the entire time that is listed, however, volunteers are expected to be avialable for those times.
The location of the community fair is to be announced but will take place in Montgomery, AL. If you are available to help please contact us!

Mission Statement
The mission of Women of Refined Gold is to Educate, Empower, and End repeat cycles of unhealthy relationships. We do so by educating communities impacted by domestic violence, taking a holistic approach, and equipping women and teen girls with survivor resources to reclaim their lives.
Description
Our organization has a powerful history and a bright future ahead. Founded in 2013 by Tsharin Moncrief, who herself survived domestic violence, we are driven by the passion to help others in similar situations. Our vision is to be a powerful voice for those who don't have one, and we have already made significant strides toward this goal.
We have several programs that we are proud of, and we are working tirelessly to expand them. Our WORG Safehaven program provides transitional housing for women who have been left homeless due to domestic violence, offering them a safe space to heal and rebuild their lives. Our Purple Academy program focuses on educating young people about dating violence, helping to break the cycle of abuse before it starts. Finally, our Beauty Not Bruises program trains beauty professionals to recognize the signs of domestic violence and respond appropriately - an important step towards ending the cycle of abuse.
We're proud of our accomplishments so far, but we know there is still so much work to be done. With your support, we can continue to expand our programs, reach more people in need, and truly make a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence. Thank you for considering joining us in this important work.professional on how to recognize when their clients have been impacted.
