Mission Statement
The mission of our non-profit, community-based market is to support excellent growers and producers while nurturing community appreciation of wholesome local foods in a lively neighborhood setting.
Description
The Clintonville Farmers' Market began in 2003 and has expanded to run three seasons throughout the year featuring 60+ producers. At the market, you'll find fruits and vegetables, poultry, pasture-raised meats, cheese, honey and jams, baked goods of all kinds, eggs, grains, cut flowers and more...all produced locally and brought to market at the peak of freshness. Our producers travel anywhere from half a mile to 90 miles to arrive in Clintonville each market day, often harvesting just hours before to ensure they sell only the highest quality products. The Clintonville Farmers' Market is a producer-only market, meaning our producers grow or make everything they sell. This model provides our customers with the opportunity to ask questions, develop relationships, and to truly learn where their food comes from...in short, to meet the farmers who grow their food!
Ohio Direction Card (EBT), VeggieSNAPS, Debit, and Credit cards accepted at market information tent.
Our programs include a kids garden club, "To Market, To Market" senior coupons, and helping our farmers transition to certified organic.
