The Bluebonnet Room is an onsite emergency resource center containing new items for abused and neglected children in Taylor County. Through partnerships with individuals, groups, and corporations in the community, the Bluebonnet Room provides emergency material resources to caseworkers for their clients including but not limited to diapers, clothing, school supplies, hygiene/ baby products, blankets, etc.

In seek of a volunteer able to commit 1-2 hours per week on set times/ days for the following responsibilities:

* Inputting new inventory into computer system and arranging in room
* Tracking incoming donations
* Processing outgoing inventory forms in computer
* Arranging shopping trips with volunteers
* Compile monthly data reports
* Other duties as needed for specific projects to help coordinate asks for donations: flyers/ envelope stuffing/ etc.

Must be comfortable working with computers.

Abilene Community Partners is a subcommittee of the Taylor County Child Welfare Board (TCCWB). TCCWB supports Child Protective Services in an effort to advocate for and increase the effectiveness of services to vulnerable children and families while promoting prevention of child abuse and neglect so that all children live in a loving, nurturing and safe environment.
