What is the Vestido Rojo Luncheon?
It’s a half-day interactive conference that offers educational material in English and Spanish. The aim is to raise awareness about the high risks of heart disease amongst Latinas.
I’m in - how can I help?
You’ll be stationed in areas of need. Those may consist of either of these categories. (Parking, Greeters, Registration, Crowd Control, Set-Up, Clean up and Sample Handouts)
Parking, will be tasked with helping guests locate the garage or directing to overflow parking area.
Greeters, will be greeting guests coming into the conference and helping them find the registration tables to check in.
Registration, will be tasked with checking in guests via our Live Go Time system.
Crowd Control, will be showing guests to their tables and helping them find there way around to vendors and screenings.
Set-up will be at 6am, we will be putting centerpieces on tables, as well as gifts for guests and any other necessities needed that morning.
Sample Handouts- We will be responsible for helping hand out samples of a recipe demonstrated for guests to try.
Clean up, will be tasked with helping gather material and pack for pick up.
All of these jobs are subject to change if there are larger needs in a particular area.
The volunteer shifts will be from 6:00am-1:30pm.
