Assist as a member of our Guest Experience Team by acting as a greeter, registration lead, contribution collector, or usher at Rays of Change, Amaanah's annual benefit dinner for resettled refugees. Specific duties to be assigned in late May. This formal event will be held at the Sheraton downtown.
Other Info:
-Orientation and training will be required prior to the event.
-Dinner will be provided to volunteers at 8:30 PM.

In September 2016, Amaanah expanded to Austin to meet the needs of refugees in our capital city.
Our services currently include:
In-school tutoring to support teachers and newcomers in AISD classrooms After school programming to promote academic and social development Field trips to facilitate applied learning and acculturation Athletics to build self confidence and encourage healthy living Events to create community among volunteers and our refugee clientsAmaanah’s diverse team works with a variety of agencies and partners to provide high quality programming in Austin. The services are designed to drive real impact and support the long term integration of refugee families in our community.
