TIME'S UP! is a 30-year-old non-profit grassroots environmental group located in New York City. Time's Up! organizes hundreds of educational workshops, events, and campaigns to promote environmental sustainability. We are currently seeking fall interns.

ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR Intern

• The Assistant to the Director position involves assisting with a variety of different activities including but not limited to: setting up events, managing spaces, organizing committees and meetings, and networking with other organizations and volunteers. Please note that a significant amount of time will be spent assisting the Director with drafting, emailing, and computer work, also includes transcription of dictation. Applicants must be flexible, computer savvy, and must be proficient in written/ spoken English with good grammatical skills. This opportunity may involve working at several different locations in lower Manhattan (LES, East Village) and in Brooklyn (Williamsburg)

Interns are expected to commit for three months, for three weekdays and one weekend a week. This is a great opportunity to learn about how a non-profit organization is run and to make a difference in a grassroots environmental organization. Read more about Time's Up here: http://www.times-up.org
