RAISE is a non-profit work and social skills training program for adults with disabilities with the mission to build confidence, promote independence, and each employability skills to adults with disabilities and provide guidance and support to their families.
By providing a part-time work experience through partnering locations in Central Florida, RAISE offers each participant the self-worth that comes from earning a paycheck, the satisfaction of bring a participating member of society, an accepting work environment, the self- respect that comes with productivity, and the dignity of having a job, a feeling of contribution, and the social benefit of interfacing with our community in a safe and compassionate setting.
We rely on 1:1 volunteer job coaches to accompany our participants to the job site to provide guidance, support, modeling and feedback, As the participants become more independent, the job coach may begin to fade off site.

Description
The Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando is the "umbrella" organization for the Jewish Community of Central Florida. Constituent agencies include the Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando, the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Central Florida, Jewish Family Services, the Hebrew Day School of Central Florida, Hillel of Central Florida and Kinneret Council/Senior Services. In addition, the area synagogues and other organization participate in and benefit from JFGO.

- Background Check
- Must be at least 21
- 3 hours a week for approximately 6 months.
- No prior training is required. Job coaches are required to attend a hour training and submit to a Level 2 background check. Job coaches will be asking to complete and evaluation form and submit to RAISE director following each weekly shift.
