Depending on what kind of dogs you are comfortable with (large, small, puppy, adult, etc), we will fit you with the perfect dog that you can foster until we find their forever home! During the time you are fostering, we ask that you communicate with us about your availability for meet and greets with potential adopters.

Most importantly, we ask that you provide love and comfort during the dog’s transition. Fostering with Wags and Walks is cost free. We will provide all supplies needed in order to make your fostering experience as comfortable and fun as possible! The benefits to fostering are endless, but according to our previous fosters the best part is knowing you have played a crucial role in saving a life!

There is a 2-week minimum commitment to foster with us, and we are currently most in need of big dog fosters.

Please reach out and we will promptly send you an application!

Foster Testimonials:

"I came to Wags and Walks to foster a small, hypo-allergenic dog, but when I caught Malcolm's glance with his soulful grey eyes I couldn't leave without him. This special pit bull quickly became a part of our family and brought so much joy to our lives from the day we took him home until the days Wags and Walks found him the perfect forever home" - David

"Being a new foster, it was honestly one of the best, most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I absolutely loved watching them come into their own and open up to us, and then find amazing new families who instantly loved them so much." - Kimmy
