Buildings can be living laboratories of energy and water efficiency, learn how and give back at the same time by volunteering for the Take Charge Tour: Best Practices in Energy and Water in Nevada City. On April 29th from 10am - 3pm, volunteers are needed to oversee tour participants through these high performing homes and businesses. You will manage participants by either assigning them to a guided tour, ushering them inside, or asking them to wait until other guests filter out of the house. You may be asked to point out certain project features and will be prepped with information and answers. You will also be asked to administer stamps for bingo and provide supervision of participant behavior.
