Saturday & Sunday, May 9 and 10.

This vast, verdant wetland in the upper reaches of the Klamath Basin is a key site for research and restoration in wetlands and dry pine forests. Sycan Marsh is home to thousands of nesting and migrating birds, threatened fish and newly discovered aquatic creatures.

During this work party volunteers will repair and remove old fence. We’ll work a full day Saturday and a half day Sunday, and volunteers are welcome to camp on the preserve Friday & Saturday nights.


Sycan Marsh Weekend Work Party - Spend the weekend at this wetland site in the Upper Klamath Basin, helping with building repairs and facilities maintenance.

We'll work a full day Saturday and a half day Sunday and volunteers are invited to spend Friday and/or Saturday nights camping with us.
