Senior volunteers wanted to participate in the Intergenerational Olympics. A child will be teamed up with an adult (50+) to play health and fitness themed games, bridging the generational gap, while teaching children the value of older adults as well as teaching older adults the value of children.
The event will include a free lunch, free t-shirt (to the first 30 volunteers), and a motivational speech from a real Olympian, who will hand out individual awards to participants.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and sunscreen.
Volunteers may also be asked to assist with other activities related to the It's How We Live Health Expo.

The County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation strives to have a park and recreation system that is the pride of San Diego County. We have over 90 locations, including campgrounds, picnic parks, open space preserves, historic sites, community centers, teen centers, sports complexes, local parks and wetlands.
