PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Provide mental health assistance to disaster clients and staff and act as a referral source
OPEN TIME DAYS
Only occurs during large disaster events. Shifts are generally 12 hours in shelters at the onset of disaster and may be daytime or overnight. Some outreach during daytime shifts may also occur. However,⦆ under certain conditions, 4 hour shifts will be acceptable.

* Psychological First Aid (classroom)
* Shelter Fundamentals (online)
* Disaster Assessment Fundamentals (online)
* Client Casework (classroom)
* Supervising Volunteers Workshop - recommended (classroom)
* Fundamentals of Disaster Mental Health
