FIDELIS HOSPICE is looking for volunteers who may be interested in learning about palliative care and the beauty of hospice, especially sitting vigil. If you have to to sit and be one with a patient during the sying process, we may be the perfect volunteer match for you. Please join our team in offering compassion and kindness as a friendly visitor to our hospice patients. We offer an on-line training that allows you to go at your own pace. At Fidelis Hospice, our primary goals are to provide comfort and promote the dignity of the terminally ill while relieving physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. Our care is provided in the home, nursing home, assisted living facility or wherever our patients call home. We offer an holistic approach to care provided by a dedicated team of caring professionals led by a physician which includes a nurse, social worker, chaplain, hospice aide and volunteer!
