Disabled veteran in Kent is looking for an experienced gardner to help transplant plants within a well planned yard. This client cares very much about this yard and planned the location of each plant, unfortunately, some did not make it where they were supposed to go during the process and need to be moved. Experienced green thumb to the rescue!
Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Due to the vulnerable population we serve, volunteers must complete an application form, pass a background check, provide driver's license and auto insurance, and attend an orientation and training. If providing transportation, must be 21 years of age and over. We provide mileage reimbursement and volunteers will need to pass a driver's abstract.

"See how they love one another." Our mission is to help elders and adults with disabilities remain independent in their own home by providing chore assistance and transportation from volunteers at no cost to the individual.
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adutls and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
We'll work with your schedule.
