Wish Granters help to grant the wishes of children facing a life-threatening medical condition. Activities include partnering with a peer wish granter and conducting interviews with our wish children. We will handle the logistics while you help a child discover their one true heartfelt wish!
You will be asked to work with staff to fulfill wishes, provide creative ways to keep the child engaged throughout the entire wish process, and complete all activities related to a wish. We ask that wish granters are able and willing to devote approximately one hour a week, that they be 21 years of age or older. They must also complete a volunteer application, a criminal background check, and a wish granting training via webinar.
Wish Granters are needed all over the state of Idaho, and will communicate with our Boise office through email and phone calls. For more information or to sign up for a wish granter training contact Sarah at sgraves@idaho.wish.org.
