Santa Ana River Trail Clean Up Event

The Santa Ana River Trail is a 12-foot wide path following the Santa Ana River, a waterway that is cement-lined through much of Orange County but free flowing in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. The popular trail, currently open in two disconnected segments, links inland neighborhoods, businesses and shopping districts with the beach.

After the severe weather we experienced this winter the trail is in need of some heavy duty TLC. Tons of trash and debris has piled up in several areas and we need the help of volunteers in the community to help us restore it back to its original beauty.

City of Riverside Parks, the County of Riverside, and the Santa Ana River Trust program of Rivers & Lands Conservancy will host a volunteer clean up event on Saturday, June 3rd from 8am - 12pm.

Volunteers will help staff comb the trail and remove as much trash and debris as possible. We will provide all the necessary equipment, supplies, and support.
