Eastside Heritage Center (EHC) in Bellevue seeks a volunteer who would be responsible for managing their company website: www.EastsideHeritageCenter.org.
About Eastside Heritage Center:
Eastside Heritage Center (EHC) is a non-profit organization based in Bellevue, WA that maintains and preserves the largest collection of East King County related artifacts, photos and archival material and focusses on sharing this heritage with the surrounding community.
Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
- Add, edit and/or update content on website sent by EHC staff.
- Implement updates, upgrades and patches in timely manner.
- Develop or implement procedures for ongoing website revision.
- Back up or modify applications and related data to provide for disaster recovery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with HTML and CSS.
- General programming skills and understanding of internet technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Hours:
- 2 to 4 hours/week with flexible schedule.
- This position may work remotely, communicating with staff by email or phone.
Compensation:
- Eastside Heritage Center is able to offer a stipend payment for this position, and/or offer this position as an internship. Ideally, this position would be an unpaid volunteer role, for someone who is looking for a community engagement opportunity.

Description
EHC was formed in 2001 from the merger of the Bellevue Historical Society and Marymoor Museum. Administrative offices are in one of Bellevue's historic buildings and research is available at the Winters House, a National Register site; both locations are in Bellevue.
