Midway Village Museum Marketing Team is seeking energetic and qualified volunteers to meet and greet patrons at community events such as expos, volunteer fairs, and health fairs. Volunteers will share information about the museum, upcoming events and ways to get involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer service to all patrons at the booth
- Provide direction and answer questions
- Provide information about the museum, upcoming events, membership, volunteering
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Energetic and a people person
- Ability to carry and lift 25 pounds or more
- Ability to solve problems while remaining professional and respectful
- Weekend availability as a majority of the expos take place during that time
Support:
- Advanced formal training will be provided
- Follow-up onsite training will be provided
- Museum Staff will be either be present on site or via phone for questions and assistance

Welcome to the award-winning Midway Village Museum! The museum campus sits on a 148-acre campus conveniently located near I-90 in Rockford, Illinois. The museum is comfortably nestled among trees to create a beautiful ambiance at any time of the year. Our Victorian-era Village and Main Museum Center are centrally located on the campus within walking distance of each other.
