Through the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP), TAFB has partnered with WIC (Women, Infants and Children) clinics in Tarrant County to connect local farmers with WIC clients. From June through August WIC clients will receive vouchers for fresh produce which they may immediately redeem with farmers set up at the distribution sites.
Volunteers will be assisting with the set up/clean up, registration and general client support. Spanish-speaking or bilingual is a plus!
Volunteers may only register for FMNP events after completing training and passing a background check.
