Our mission at Heaven And Life Foundation is to provide inner city kids and teens an escape from their normal routine and give them positive activities such as events, inspring experiences, educational field trips and any positive activities. Our purpose for doing this is to prevent kids and teens from getting into trouble while getting them involved in something positive. We rely on wonderful volunteers like yourself to make this possible. Without you we could not touch the lives and inspire the youth. May 29 we are having an event at Freedom Park. We have Shelter # 5. Volunteers are needed to supervise kids while they play on the play ground and teenagers will need someone athletic to play basketball and football with. We have a grill for cooking and need volunteers to help with food prep, cooking, and serving. The estimated total bodies to arrive are 10 Teenagers and 12 children, youngest child will be 8 years old. If you have an passion for children and giving back to the community this will be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! We are looking forward to meeting you!

Heaven And Life Foundation is a non - profit organization that keeps children and teens living in the urban community away from crime and off the streets by providing them with positive activities after school and during the summer. We provide children and teens with a safe place to learn, play and grow.
Description
Our mission consist of three very important objectives. First we focus on giving the children something to do in their spare time in a safe and educational environment. We inspire them with Art, Music, Dance, Sports and Education. Second we focus on teaching young adults how to avoid trouble, how to deal with everyday situations, how to stay positive in a negative environment and how to become successful working adults. Third if children or young adults make the error of getting in trouble we offer them resources and tools to counsel them and work intensively with them in every aspect to prevent them from making the same error over and over again.
