Position Description: CIELO is seeking entrepreneurs for our upcoming networking event. The purpose of the guest entrepreneur or representative is to come and network amongst the attendees of the night. Most of the attendees have never networked in-person and will be asked to seek out guest volunteers and practice communicating with them in a professional manner. Guest volunteers will be assisting attendees build confidence and develop formal dialogue during conversations.
Required Experience: Must be considered an entrepreneur of some kind. This means currently owning a small business or just developing a small business. Freelancers and self-employed are welcome to register. Representatives from large and small companies are welcome to register and volunteer, but must promote their company when networking or communicating with attendees.
Duties to Expect:
- Communication in large groups
- Discussion and participation in questions
- Professional attire and attitude
- Standing (long periods) and conversing with attendees 1:1
Training: A 1-2 hour orientation training will take place one week prior to the event (TBD). This will just be a brief meeting to go over what to expect and address questions or concerns.
Date, Hours & location: April 20 th 2017, 4pm to 7pm (3 hours), and the venue will be at the Blue Flame Coffee House 15541 Product Ln #102, Huntington Beach, CA 92649. If you cannot do all three hours, please contact for more information and we can adjust your schedule.
Benefits: Opportunity to meet and network with potential employees, collaborators and clients. finger food and beverages will be provided (non-alcohol). Give back to the community of Huntington Beach in your own way (donating your knowledge and expertise through conversations).
