There is an older woman in Federal Way that could use your help! Ms. B needs to have her lawn mowed. She has the needed equipment, but she is just too frail to do the work herself. Help Ms. B keep her yard up, by visiting once or twice a month.
Volunteer Services assists low-income older adults and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Time and location are very flexible; you can volunteer in your own neighborhood at on days that work for you, at times and frequency that fit your schedule. You are provided with an orientation and ongoing staff support.
