Volunteer would provide friendly visits to the resident seniors at the home. Engage them in conversation, read to them, escort them off unit to lounge area/gift shop or outdoors (garden) during warm weather. Spanish speaking a plus.

Description

Schervier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, established in 1938, is a 364 bed skilled nursing home that serves the elderly and the disabled. We offer rehabilitation and long term care services. Schervier has a tradition of providng good help to those in need, especially the poor and the dying.
