Volunteers will assist our Community and Property Manager by providing a safe environment for local teens to play basketball. The Salvation Army Community Center hosts Youth Basketball every Tuesday from 3:30pm - 5:30pm. The Salvation Army Community Center is located on 502 N. Prospect Avenue in Champaign.
Tasks:
- Monitor the teens' behavior.
- Ensure all items and equipment is returned.
- Provide a safe environment for the teens.
- Assist with the upkeep of the gymnasium.

Description
The Salvation Army of Champaign County is dedicated to assisting Champaign County residents by offering social service programs. The Salvation Army Red Shield Center is comprised of The Family Thrift Store and Social Services Department. The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store provides access to affordale clothing and furnitiure items. The Family Thrift Store accepts donations weekly Monday - Saturday. The Social Services Department provides Champaign residents with access to the food panty, utility assistance, supportive services for veteran families, and much more.
