Helping Refugees Go to Job Interviews

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities Atlanta

Have the opportunity to meet refugees and take them for job interviews so that they can start working in America.

Refugees are usually from Congo, Syria, Bhutan, Burma, Iraq, or Afghanistan. They are located mostly in Clarkston, GA.

You will have the opportunity to meet with our different refugees and see where most of the refugees in Georgia get to work. During the ride, you will be able to hear refugees' stories and learn about their culture and teach them about your own. Help refugee families go on job interviews so that they can start their lives with work. The job interview is one of the most essential and memorable times for a refugee as it is their first step at becoming self sufficient in America. If you're looking to give back to the community this is the perfect way to do so as you can help refugees get their lives started.

Volunteers must undergo an orientation and submit to a background check provided by the agency.
