Brenda, a woman with a developmental disability, would love to spend time with a female volunteer who has a similar appreciation for Mexican food out, shopping and sitting in a cafe and talking about life. Brenda is very social and has a good sense of humor. Having a friend to talk with and enjoy community participation with would add another layer to her life which would have a very positive impact. Having a developmental disability sometimes makes it harder to meet and make friends. Perhaps you'd like to extend the gift of your friendship?
