We would love family, senior, retired, collage, youth and adult volunteers.

LoveJoy is a licensed non-profit AFC home on Lansing’s west side that facilitates games, nutrition, counseling services, companionship, daily supportive living assistance, housing and med distribution in a safe environment. Rather dementia, elderly or disable our client’srange from high fuctioning to non verbal and ambulatory. Our facility is staffed 24/7 and we are always looking for helping hands. we do our best to provide a friendly, fun, educational environment. We are looking for volunteers to help with activities, companionship and special events. Please feel free to contact us for a tour and more information today.

LoveJoy Rehabilitation Centers is dedicated to supporting and empowering persons seeking to address their physical and behavioral health needs through a community integration approach.

Description

  • Specialized Residential / Licensed Group Homes

  • 24-Hour Care, Protection, & Supervision

  • Assistance with personal care and activities of daily living skills including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

  • Skill building

  • Daily programming

  • Weekly field trips

  • Room & Board along with three (3) meals a day and snacks (special diets are recognized)

  • Visiting physicians & nurses

  • Medication administration

  • Psychological therapy

  • Transportation to doctor appointments & outings

  • Adult Day Services

    • Our day program is designed for those who need relief during the day between 8am to 8pm for no more than 10 hours.

    • Staff supervision

    • Medication administration and monitoring

    • Will be provided meals while in attendance
