Are you super organized and love a clean house? Help us keep our Children's Minneapolis Ronald McDonald House location looking fresh and welcoming for our families, who visit us while their child is receiving critical care in the hospital. That's right! there is a house inside the hospital!

House Warmers create a home-like environment and perform basic housekeeping functions.

Our volunteers make such a difference for our families and staff!

Mission Statement

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness.

Description

We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:

  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
  • Laundry facilities
  • An accredited K-12 school
  • Workout facilities
  • Supportive, family-focused programming

We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
