The Geek Group operates off of computers. We are looking for a few team members who would be able to help maintain that network, and do basic computer services. This includes troubleshoot workstations (Windows & Linux), setting up new workstations, internet infrastructure (running cables, "why does the wifi not work today?"), handling donations of old computers, testing them, refurbishing them, and getting them set up for new people to use.
There is a great opportunity if you are looking for experience, or need volunteer or community service hours for work or school.
There is no specific time commitment. We appreciate whatever you can give. There is no specific experience requirement. This is a general position.
