We're looking for a highly creative and motivated volunteer social media coordinator for STEMed Labs. In this role, you'll have the ability to propose and evaluate your novel ideas to make a positive impact in the lives of youth. If you're an out-of-the-box thinker who loves to craft content and engage users on social media, we'd love to meet you!

Specific responsibilities for this role include:

• Social media development (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)

• Drafting website copy that helps tell our story

• Reporting social media analytics

You’ll oversee our social media presence by posting & scheduling content and interacting with our connections. Working with other members of the team, you’ll help us spread the word about upcoming programs & events. You’ll experiment with strategies to increase our followership & engagement while keeping current audiences satisfied.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with content development, social media, etc. (links to previous projects a plus)

• Strong writing skills

• Punctuality and professionalism

• Ability to meet occasionally at our Capital Factory office

• Ability to work effectively as a remote member of the team

• Ability to hit deadlines as agreed upon

• A "get it done" attitude
