Want a fun way to express your creativity through a good cause?
Looking for experience in photography?
The Hunger Intervention Progrm is seeking multiple photographers with various skills to capture our amazing Summer Meals event & daily life at HIP. This volunteer position is very flexible and is a "pop in when you'd like to" schedule!
Our Summer Meals program is a daily lunch at 7 sites that feauture activites and collaborations with various local non-for profits; it supports children with low-income families and provides accessible nutrious meals. Some activites will include gardening; story-time, skateboarding classes, art classes/mural designing, and parades!
Senior Meals & our packing parties will also need to be photographed.
One will be taking photos of all of our programs and capturing the Lake City community at its busiest time of the year while, being a part of the community and sharing in on the fun!
All one has to do is submit a couple of photos to Ty@hungerintervention.org and provide their own equipment.

The mission of Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) is to increase food security for underserved populations in north King County through nutritious meals, educational programs, and advocacy.
Description
HIP’s programs bring nutrition education to local families and vital meals to neighbors in need through our Summer Meals for Kids, Afterschool Snack, Shelter Meals, and Senior Meals programs. Our Healthy HIP Packs program also provides vital weekend food support to children at risk of hunger when they are out of school. HIP is actively engaged with many local, statewide, and national coalitions of food justice organizations to advocate for policy level changes to address hunger.
