Collaborative Response is doing a fundraiser at the Kansas City Speedway again this year. Every year we get a huge group together of friends and family and rock out at the Speedway. It is a great way for us to earn money, sale food, eat food, listen and be part of all the exciting sounds of the weekend.

Groups are welcome, families, and friends are welcome. Forn your volunteer participation Collaborative Response pays for your food, parking, and gives you and your group an event pass to join us for the day. Individuals are welcome as well.

You can join us for either day or both days: May 12, 2017 and May 13, 2017.

Please send an email of interest with phone number and size of group or give us a call 816.982.9060

Thank you for your interest and support!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to change the social and economic landscape of minorities through education and entrepreneurship.

Description

WHO WE ARE

Collaborative Response (CR) is an education-based organization dedicated to enhancing the social and economic landscape for minorities through education and entrepreneurship. Our organization was founded in 2011 and has grown across three phases to become a resource to students and their families around the Kansas City Metro Area. We started our journey partnering with schools and community centers to help strengthen students in their academics. Tutoring, mentoring, and educational activities were our main focus. However, there has been a gap for school choice options for minorities that will prepare them for post-graduation. Therefore in 2023, we are expanding our educational opportunities to expand outside of the traditional classroom setting.

WHAT WE DO

Collaborative Response (CR) partners with educational institutions and other business professionals in the community who mentor and tutor students in the organization. Students are entered into the program through assessments to identify the skill levels on the core subjects. The grades we tutor are:

  • 3 rd Grade- Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Skills.
  • 4 th Grade- Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Skills.
  • 5 th Grade- Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Social Skills.
