-To search for and write appropriate grants from potential organizations
-Keep in contact with previous grant providers and renew any grant work that will be needed.
-Keep in contact with the fundraising director, treasurer, and other individuals who are raising money to assist in brainstorming for future grants/money raising efforts.
- This position will have an annual 'get’ of at least 2,000 for the first year and then 3,500 minimum for the second which should be achievable in only 2-3 grants in the year. No 'give’ will be necessary.
- Analyze grant stipulations to prevent the grants accepted by Trans* Youth channel from limiting our scope of service to less then what our mission statement calls for.
- directly work with grant funding organizations to keep them up to date on the efforts done with the existing grants applied for.
