Do you know what to do if you find kittens? Come and learn the best way to deal with newborn, feral or injured kittens. We'll cover bottle feeding, taming and medical care to help these little ones get off to a better life.

If you truly have a heart for helping our community cats and want to be involved with our group, please include your email address and phone number so we can contact you ASAP. These kitties really need as much help as possible and we'd like to get you connected right away! We also have monthly volunteer orientation meetings every third Wednesday of the month to share our information. If you are interested in coming to a meeting, please let me know so we can make sure you get the notification.

Thank you for your interest in saving the community cats!

About OC Community Cats formerly Anaheim Fix Project

Location:

9852 Katella #290, Anaheim, CA 92804, US

Mission Statement

We at the OC Community Cats are devoted to the care and well-being of the stray, homeless and abandoned Community Cats of North Orange County. We spay/neuter stray cats (TNR), rescue homeless friendly cats and young kittens off the streets and provide food and veterinary care for hundreds of kitties in need. We are a relatively new organization, but we have recently been invited by the City of Anaheim to help them create humane new community cat programs and policies. We now have the opportunity to not only save little lives one at a time, but also to make a huge potential impact on the way Orange County treats their stray cats and potentially create better futures for thousands of innocent kitties. Anaheim’s new programs and policies will serve as a model for other cities to follow so what we do now could make an important difference for the future of cats all across the county and beyond.

Description

We are a small organization with an enormous opportunity to create meaningful change , but we can’t make this program a success without your help! We need more caring and capable hands on deck; to help us with everything from Organizational Leadership, Project Management, Fundraising, Community Relations and Social Media, to Trapping, Feeding, Fostering and TNR! As long as you care about kitties, you can help! You don’t even have to live in Anaheim or have any experience! This is a truly wonderful opportunity to not only help the desperate kitties of Anaheim, but to also create a new kind of cooperative partnership with city government! This could well serve as a model for other cities across the county and the country! Together, we can make the most of this unprecedented opportunity to help Community Cats!
