About

Will you have free time this summer? Would you like to help children spend a portion of their summer engaging in meaningful and fun activities? Burbank Housing has developed fun and educational summer programming that will require committed and enthusiastic volunteers to help enrich the summers of children located throughout Sonoma County.

This opportunitiy is great for students looking to get community service hours, adults looking to incorporate childhood development into thier career path, future teachers, or persons that work well with children.

The Volunteer Summer Lunch Instructor will be responsible for providing an enrichment program to the recipients of the Food Bank lunch program. The purpose of this program is to enhance the lives of low-income children who would not otherwise have a structured summer camp, activity or sport due to lack of funds.
