Bethany House Ambassadors: Join other young professionals and emerging leaders to support homeless children and their families. Activities include fun gatherings of members and signature volunteer and fundraising events. Becoming an ambassador is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of a strong movement that will be very influential in shaping the future of development at Bethany House.
We are the largest family homeless shelter in Cincinnati serving 5 of every 10 families. In 2016, we served 1162 individuals - 762 were children. The generational cycle of poverty in our city continues and is growing at an unprecedented pace.
We need motivated, energized and creative volunteers who have a desire to help achieve our vision of living in a city where EVERYONE has a place to call home. This opportunity is flexible, and volunteers can help on weekdays, weeknights, or weekends

Description
We offer emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing to low-income and homeless families. We also provide a variety of social services such as post shelter support, child-parent program, parenting and budgeting classes, etc.
