Volunteer in the Adult Emergency Department!!!
- Check in on patients to offer smiles, a listening ear, encouragement, blankets, and pillows. Help to give the patient a positive experience.
-Answer call lights to determine the patient's need (over 50% of the time the patient's needs are non- medical and can be met by the volunteer) Run needed errands.
-Check in on family members and other loved ones who have accompanied the patient. Offer beverages, information, updates, etc.
Volunteers needed 7 days each week; shifts 8-12pm, 12-4pm, 4-8pm, 8-12am
