Share your networking skills with HOLA Alumni

On Saturday, April 1st from 11AM - 3PM, we will be hosting our annual HOLA Homecoming: Alumni Networking Brunch . HOLA Alumni will come together with volunteers to learn how to network and how to conduct themselves in a casual business setting. We'll also be providing other resources to support out Alumni in developing their professional identities. Here are some ways to join in on our efforts and give back!

• Volunteer as a networker! We are looking for volunteers to join us from 12:00 - 2:30PM. Volunteers and alumni will participate in a (mock) happy hour where we'll have snacks, virgin cocktails, and mingling time!
• Volunteer as a panelist. If you are particularly passionate about networking, we would love to invite you to speak with our students and share your networking do's and don'ts.
• Donate business professional/casual clothing or school supplies. At each event, we try to provide resources that our Alumni can take with them to help them on their professional journeys. If you have business professional clothing, shoes, or accessories to donate, please contact Katherine Kouot, kkouot@heartofla.org. We are also accepting any office or school supply donations to help reduce the financial pressure of paying for the small expenses of being a student.
• Share internship and summer opportunities. If you know of great internships, fellowships, or other summer opportunities, please send to Nohely Chavez, nchavez@heartofla.org. Additionally, if you know of colleagues who may have internship opportunities and may be interested in sharing their opportunities directly with the Alumni, please invite them to volunteer as a networker!
