The Graphic Design volunteer is responsible for working within Minnesota Children’s Museum brand standards to create a visual representation of the Play Team logic model. Play Team is the Museum’s youth volunteer program that gives teens the chance to volunteer while building their skills. The logic model will be shared with both internal and external audiences to help promote and highlight the program. We’ll provide the information and the volunteer will create a visual representation of the information.
Qualifications
- Experience in graphic design
- Ability and willingness to exercise creativity while working with in brand parameters
- Ability to follow oral instructions and ask for assistance and additional explanation as necessary
- Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision
- Volunteer Orientation
- Build a portfolio of professional quality work samples
- Expand professional network
- Experience working in a large non-profit
- Four Museum passes given upon project completion
- Parking vouchers and Metro Transit passes when volunteering onsite
- Letters of reference and recommendations available upon request
This role requires remote work and commitment to the duration of the project, approximately 8-16 hours. Final product is desired by the end of April 2017. This timeline is flexible with advanced communication.
