Park Beautification Day

Friday, May 12th, 9am-12pm

Sanborn Park

There are many ways to keep your park beautiful! If you are looking to get outside and connect with the outdoors right in your backyard this is the opportunity for you! California native plants play an important role in the health of our parks. To help our native plants thrive we have to work together to remove non-native and invasive plants.

Volunteers meet at the Park Ranger at the Costanoan Parking Lot at 9 AM. The park address is 16055 Sanborn Rd Saratoga, CA 95070

No special skills are required for this event. Please wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, closed toe shoes, and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Work gloves and pick up sticks are provided but you are welcome to wear your own.

Volunteers age 14-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event. Volunteers age 16-17 may participate without parent/guardian supervision but only if they present a completed volunteer application including a parent or guardian's signature. Application forms as available at the event but the parent or guardian must be present to sign.
