Road to Recovery is an American Cancer Society program offering transportation to cancer patients. Volunteers donate their time and vehicle to take patients to and from treatment. Must be available weekdays, daytime hours. Volunteers can specify how often and how far they are willing to drive and volunteering to drive a patient even once a month will help. Cancer patients are ambulatory (can walk without help) or will bring someone else to help them.
