An integral part of the Travelers Championship is the volunteers who sign up to volunteer in the skyboxes. skybox volunteers must be energetic, fun, have good communication skills and like to work with people. As a marshal or greeter within the skyboxes, volunteers will welcome sponsors and their guests and will help to keep the skybox quiet for the golfers. The skyboxes allow volunteers to watch some golf while being in a fun and energetic environment. Experience with excellent customer service is preferred and a professional appearance and attitude are a must. As a skybox volunteer you will be on your feet most of the day. Volunteers are in high demand during the weekend as the volume of fans increases with the final rounds of competition.
Shifts with the highest demand for volunteers are the following:
- Saturday June 24th from 9am-2:30pm & 1:30pm-6:30pm
- Sunday June 25th from 9am-2:30pm & 1:30pm-6:30pm

Every year, thousands of people donate their time and effort to volunteer for the Travelers Championship. Last year alone, Travelers Championship volunteers provided a total of more than 80,000 hours of their time to help give back to the community. Volunteering at the tournament not only allows you to go behind the scenes at Connecticut’s largest sporting event, but also allows you to have a direct impact on the amount of charity dollars the tournament pours back into the community each year.
