WNC Bridge FOUNDATION

At the WNC Bridge Foundation thrift store, volunteers do everything from accepting donations, sorting and cleaning, stocking shelves, displaying merchandise, to assisting customers. All to ensure our customers enjoy their shopping experience and find the treasure they didn’t know they even needed!

Our thrift store could not run without the commitment, hard work, and skills of our volunteers! We’d love to have you join our vibrant community of volunteers. Former teachers, nurses, bankers, current crafters, and even nuclear engineers are what make the thrift store such a fun, friendly, and fascinating place to share your skills!

We’re always on the lookout for dynamic and friendly people who have a desire to give back, no matter what your background.

By volunteering, you are directly responsible for helping provide funding for all of WNC Bridge Foundation supports.

About WNC Bridge FOUNDATION

Location:

75 Fairview Road, ASHEVILLE, NC 28803, US

Mission Statement

The mission of WNC Bridge Foundation is to provide funds to assist in meeting the health challenges of persons in the communities of Western North Carolina and to empower non-profits to impact individual and community wellness in those communities.

Description

CarePartners Foundation - a non-profit foundation - has changed its name to WNC Bridge Foundation (WNC Bridge). The name change reflects our broader mission of providing funds to assist in meeting the health challenges of persons in the communities of Western North Carolina and to empower non-profits to impact individual and community wellness in those communities.

Prior to changing its name to WNC Bridge Foundation, the foundation’s primary purpose was to support the service lines of CarePartners Health Services. Because CarePartners is part of the HCA transaction, the organization will no longer need financial assistance from the foundation. WNC Bridge will continue to support its other community works, including service lines that were originally part of CarePartners: Adult Day Services, Grief Support, and Music Therapy (now part of MountainCare). WNC Bridge Foundation will also fundraise on behalf of the Rathbun House now operating as part of MountainCare, the only hospitality house in Western North Carolina.
